Employee of the Season

Fall 2025
Jessica Oren
April 2025
After 15 years away raising her children, Jessica Oren was ready to re-enter the workforce. Given her experience doing roving watches in the US Navy, she felt that private security was a sensible choice. She interviewed with Omega, and it seemed like a good fit! Jess started with overnights at Main Street Commons & 1 E Broad, then later covered morning shifts at Pinemere Camp. The Allentown Public Library required a Shift Coordinator, so she changed sites once more and took the higher position! Today, she manages the site with poise, and has her eye on Ops Supervisor. Outside of work, Jess enjoys nerd culture, especially Marvel, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and The Sims – she even has the physical discs! She loves hanging out with her kids, and tends to spend a lot of time at home. Her favorite Marvel character is Loki, and she recommends that you – yes, you – watch his eponymous series!

Summer 2025
Sarah Schweikert
Joined February 2025
Sarah has always felt a deep curiosity about the world and the people in it. For her, this has manifested as an aspiration to work as a corrections counselor – a position that requires a lot of education and experience. To get started, she decided to seek work as a security officer, where she could learn more about engaging with the public! While Sarah found many large companies, she has always preferred working for local organizations, and applied with Omega.
Upon joining, Sarah worked alongside a team at Albright College, where there was always something to learn. She soon sought even more hours, and started covering at Heidelberg Materials. Her positive attitude and solid work ethic made Sarah an obvious candidate for advancement to Site Coordinator. She jumped on the opportunity for more responsibility!
Outside of work, Sarah likes reading, leisurely strolling with friends, and meditating on everything, nothing, and plenty in-between. Her most recent book recommendation is Seven Secrets to Unfolding Destiny by Mark Chironna – a help book about living a happy life. Sarah believes that there exists some truth in every belief system, and enjoys talking about philosophy, spirituality, and theology from around the world.

Spring 2025
Javier Javier Delgado
Joined August 2024
Javier moved to the Lehigh Valley from the Dominican Republic! Seeking work on Indeed, he saw Omega’s listing for a security officer. His charismatic professionalism landed him regular hours providing security coverage at Heidelberg Materials! Later, he realized an opportunity to advance to Shift Coordinator by switching to Albright College – and the commute was shorter, too. Outside of work, Javier likes motor racing! He keeps up with Formula One and plays racing games on his PlayStation, though he has also been switching to PC for the increased realism of sims such as Automobilista and Asseto Corsa. Javier is also a fan of 80s science fiction films, listing Alien and Terminator as favorites.

Winter 2025
Alnona De Maria-Outwater
Joined May 2024
Over the past 40+ years, Alnona has enjoyed working in a variety of fields, including trucking, event planning, customer service, and safety – her children were quite fond of telling people that she was a “numbers investigator.” Today, she applies her diverse skill set for Omega, working as both a Site Coordinator at LVIA and a Dispatcher in the home office. Outside of work, Alnona is not only an avid reader, but also an unpublished novelist – and published poet!
She deeply enjoys horror movies such as Event Horizon, “The Changeling,” The Haunting of Hell House,” and “The Exorcist” – and she recommends “Jacob’s Ladder” for anyone into cerebral films. Alnona attends live events, including showings and meet-and-greets with actors, directors, and writers. She is also a fan of vampire fiction, with a preference for European gothic vamps. Alnona is known by her friends and coworkers as “Mama Nona,” but her most treasured accomplishment remains raising three amazing young men.
